Laura Lee McQuinn

With heavy hearts, the family of Laura Lee (Dakin) McQuinn announce her passing on November 13, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born on Grand Manan Island on September 27, 1954 to the late Merill and Audrey (Linton) Dakin and was the special friend to Graham Fraser.

Laura was a kind and loving woman, with a gentle soul, but she was first and foremost a family person.  Her family was everything to her, and she was their rock and source of strength.  Laura had an amazing sense of humour and would go out of her way to make every person feel welcomed, always providing comfort to those in need.

She is fondly remembered by her sons; Daniel (Cynthia) and Justin (Brenda), daughters; Michelle (Jeff) Cronk and Tammy LeBlanc (Gale), 7 adored grandchildren; Christopher, Cortland, Leon, Brittney, Hunter, Meghan and Amerson, sister Winetta (Kenny) Matthews; as well as with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather Jack Robinson.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), with visitation held Wednesday from 6-8pm.  A funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11am.
