Keith MacManus

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James “Keith” MacManus which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 7th, 2018.  Born 1952, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Irvine James and Helen Gwendolyn (Hoey) MacManus.  Keith worked in the Repair & Return Department at Innovatia for 5 years.  He was a member of the SJ Ability Advisory Committee and he worked with the SJ Deaf & Hard of Hearing Society.   Keith was a history buff and he enjoyed reading and computers.  He loved the ocean, especially Chance Harbour and he looked forward to dogsitting Henry. 

Keith is survived by his brother Leonard MacManus (Michelle) of Woodstock, NB; sisters Barbara Szender of Richmond Hill, ON and Judith MacManus-Babineau (Paul) of Chance Harbour, NB; nieces and nephews James, Jodie, Sarah, Karen, Kim, and Kelley; honorary nieces and nephews Emma & James Pinfold. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Keith’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Celebration of Life Reception is taking place on Saturday, June 16th at 55 Leinster Street in the tenants retreat room from 2 to 4 p.m.  Donations in memory of Keith may be made to Lancaster Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
