Katherine Elizabeth McLeod

The death of Katherine Elizabeth McLeod, wife of the late Howard McLeod, occurred on April 17, 2017 at her home in Fredericton, NB. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Royal and Gertrude Linton.

She was a long-time resident of Rothesay before moving to Fredericton to be closer to her family in recent years. She was a 50 year member of her Rothesay Bridge Club, enjoyed her gardens and her dogs. Kaye was a wonderful mother and homemaker who loved her sons very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons Michael and his wife Charlene of New Maryland, NB, Richard and his wife Linda of Perth, Australia, her sister Rhena Mabee of Saint John, her grandchildren Madeleine, Michelle, Thriston, Donovan, Wade and Melissa, her great grandchildren Chloe, Damien and Ethan and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Following a family graveside service at Fernhill Cemetery the family will receive relatives and friends to help them celebrate the life of Katherine at Fundy Funeral Home, 230, Westmorland Road, (646-2424), on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
