Karen Frances (Boyce) Snodgrass

It is with heavy hearts and sadness the family of Karen Frances (Boyce) Snodgrass, loving wife of Barry Edward Snodgrass announce her death which occurred at home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born in Saint John, NB on November 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Mae Maude (Titus) Boyce.

In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Barry, she is survived by her son Jeremy Mark Snodgrass (Angela Jones); cherished grandchildren Harmony and Hunter; aunt Dorothy Titus; several cousins and many friends.

Karen was a school teacher for many years, retiring in 1978. She was a woman of strong faith and a long-time member of Portland United Church. She enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, decorating the home, entertaining company and shopping. Karen was a devoted wife, mother and nana.

Resting at Portland United Church, 50 Newport Crescent, Saint John on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held from the church on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11am. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Karen may be made to The New Brunswick Lung Association, Portland United Church or to the charity of the donor`s choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John (646-2424).
