Joyce Elaine (Duplisea) MacKinney

After a brief illness, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Elaine (Duplisea) MacKinney on November 23, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born in Saint John on April 18, 1943 to the late Edward and Edna Duplisea and was the loving wife to her late husband, Robert MacKinney.

Joyce worked as a hair stylist for many years, and provided office assistance at Coleson Cove.  Following her retirement, she loved to spend time with her husband and friends, she loved to cook and entertain and she adored fancy cars.  Joyce was a down to earth person and liked things kept sweet and simple.  She will be deeply missed.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private interment will take place in Sussex Corner at a later date where she will join her husband at rest.  For those who wish, memorial donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donors choice would appreciated.
