John Goodin Obituary

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of John “Jack” Bradshaw Goodin which occurred at his home on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.  Born 1958, in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late John and Elsbeth (Bradshaw) Goodin.  In his earlier years, Jack worked for the Saint John Ship Yard.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cherished every moment spent with family and friends at South Oromocto Lake. 

Jack is survived by his daughter Jessica Wilson (Mike) of Saint John, her mother Brenda and her 2 children Ben and Mindy all of Saint John; sister Patricia Murray (Dave) of Saint John; grandchildren Brady and Emery; nieces Krista Bergeron (Claude) and Tracy Murray; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Beside his parents, Jack was predeceased by his brother Brian and his beloved cat Austin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, March 10th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Jack may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
