Born April of 1942 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Arthur and Doris (Hannah) Davies. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved watching Harness Racing.

John is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne (Small) Davies; his daughter Joanne (Shawn Harrison), his son Christopher (Emily); stepdaughter Dr. Catherine Forestell (Shaun Strippel) of Williamsburg, Virginia; precious grandsons Tyler and Michael and step-granddaughter Shea Strippel of Virginia; his twin sister Diane Stevenson of Delaware, US as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother David.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home for the wonderful care John received during his stay there.
