Joan Anne (Conway) Brockie

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Joan Anne (Conway) Brockie announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John, NB on July 19, 1932 she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Lillian (Loeman) Conway. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert “Pat” Brockie; and several brothers and sisters.

Joan was employed with the Saint John Regional Hospital for 34 years, retiring in 1992. She was an avid Bingo player, loved camping and spending time her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Mike Devlin (Debbie) of Saint John; two cherished grandchildren Sonja Dollar (Ryan) and Josh Devlin and two great grandchildren Elijah and Avery Dollar; her brother Douglas Conway (Cora); and many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:30 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Joan may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
