BOUDREAU, JEANETTE MARIE ALICE- It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Jeanette Marie Alice Boudreau of Saint John, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday May 10, 2017. Born in Tracadie on July 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alexina (Noel) Arseneau. Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a former member of the Assumption Church and present member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church; the 30 Up Club and Arc-En-Ciel. Jeanette enjoyed bowling, dancing and spending cherished time with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Edward (Karen) and Leo both of Saint John; daughters Dolores McAllister (Mike) of Saint John, Gloria Matthews (Greg) of Quispamsis, Bernice Cook (Doug) of Rothesay, Florinda Smyrl (Rick) of Saint John and Giselle Kelley of Rothesay; brothers Lucien and Patrick (Josee) both of Tracadie and Eli of Rothesay; sisters Emelda Comeau, Patricia Robichaud (Gaspard) and Georgette Boudreau all of Saint John; Angie Dempsey (Joe) of Rothesay, Leona Crandlemere, Noella Blanchard (Eddie) both of Saint John, Fabiola Deschamplain (Alfred) and Marie-Marthe Pedneault (Jean Paul) and Gloria Arseneault all of Sept Isle, PQ; precious grandchildren Matthew, Danielle, Christopher, Luke, Jensen, Jaiden, Nicholas, Ryan, Adam, Ashley, Alexis and Brendan; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Amedee, brothers Albenie, Ludger, Leo and Edmund and her son-in-law Pat Kelley.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Monday May 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 16th at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, followed by a reception. Private family interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Jeanette’s memory can be made to the Diabetes Association, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or donor’s choice.
