It is with heavy hearts that the family of James “Jimmie” Campbell of Saint John announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Born April 23, 1937, he was the son of the late Alexander and Martha (Arsenault) Campbell.
Jimmie was employed at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill, retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna (Brown) Campbell and his cherished daughters; Darlene (Howard) Linton of Saint John, Sharon (Clifford) Goodfellow of Boiestown, NB and Susan (John) Williams of Saint John. Jimmie will be forever missed by his only grandchild, Tyler Williams whom he cherished.
He is also survived by his half brother Stuart (Judi) Campbell and brother-in-law Herbert Day.
In addition to his parents, Jimmie is predeceased by his sister Eileen Day and sister and brother in-law Pauline and Jeff Blakney.
As per Jimmie’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Following cremation, a private family interment will take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery.
Memorial donations towards the Diabetic Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
