Ian Green Obituary

With heavy hearts, the family of Ian Green announces his passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Born in Saint John on September 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Gerald and Annie (Fitzgerald) Green. Ian worked as a Plumber in Saint John for over 30 years. He loved going for a drive and a tea, and spending time with his friends and family. Ian is survived by his daughters; Kelly Patterson, Kalyn (Scott) Wickens, and Jillian Green (Noah Davis), partner Judith (Judy) Cook, his only sister Debbie (Chris) Hansen, sister-in-law Sheila Green, mother-in-law Dorothy Durning,  lifelong friend Dana Lindsay, his dog Molly, cat Bella; many nieces and nephews, including special nieces Krysta and Jennifer Green, and special nephew Ronald (BJ) Green. Along with his parents, Ian was pre-deceased by his father-in-law Robert (Bordie) Durning, as well as his brothers Donny, Mark, and Ronald (Joe) Green. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m.  For those who wish, remembrances to CA-R-MA would be appreciated by the family.
