Gerald Joseph Morin

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gerald “Gerry” Joseph Morin, which occurred on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on March 21, 1944 he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Morin. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Lawrence, Raymond and Herman.

Gerry was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He worked as a Plater/Steel Worker for the Saint John Shipbuilding for 35 years. He loved scratch tickets and looked forward to blueberry picking every summer for his friends at the villa.

He is survived by his good friend Ronald Watson (late Vickie) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Gerry may by made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
