Fred "Pebby" B. Edwards

It is with heavy hearts the family of Fred “Pebby” Edwards, loving and devoted husband to Michelle (Gallant) Edwards, announces his passing which occurred on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving family, following a brief illness.

Born in Saint John, NB on May 29, 1954, he was the son of the late Fred and Audrey (Hayman) Edwards. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Joan Stone and his mother-in-law Alice Gallant.

Pebby worked for numerous sign companies and most recently owned and operated Pebby’s Sign Service. He was very well known in his trade and well respected. He had a great love for all animals. Pebby adored his family, especially his trips to Disney World with them.

Besides his loving and devoted wife Michelle of 27 years, he is survived by his sons Nathan (Crystal) and Jordan, daughters Charity (Peter) and Amber (Brandon); cherished grandchildren Christien, Gabriel, Ethen, Olivia and Oliver; brother Tony (Kim); sisters Nancy (Art), Judy (Ernie), Diane (Eldon) and Donna (Gary); father-in-law Don Gallant; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Following cremation, visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John on Sunday December 2 from 2 to 8 pm. Funeral service will take place at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 3 at 11 am., followed by a reception. Remembrances in memory of Pebby may be made to SPCA Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
