Francis Gallant

It is with heavy hearts the family of Francis Joseph Oliver Gallant announces his passing on Friday August 11, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1944 in Summerside, PEI, he was the son of the late Louis and Pauline (Robichaud) Gallant. He was employed with Tim Isaac Antiques for many years. He is survived by his best friend and companion of 36 years, Debbie Rogers; brother Luke Gallant; sisters Rita Gibbons and Jean Szezendor; children Frank Gallant, Randy (Valerie) Gallant, Sherry Gallant, Shelley (Doug) Dean; step-children Tina (John) Hall, Shane (Amanda) Bourgeois, Tommy (Tina) Rogers, Terry (Terri) Bourgeois; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brother Abel Gallant; sister Anne “Noonie” Vautour; grandson Jake Dorie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). At his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family would appreciate donations to the charity of one’s choice.
