Everett G. Brooks

With heavy hearts, the family of Everett Brooks announces his passing, which occurred at home on March 2nd, 2017. Everett was born on April 8th, 1943; a son of the late George and Margaret Ann (Belmore) Brooks, and the loving husband of Alice Brooks. During his working years, Everett was employed by Irving as an instrumentation electrical technician. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed curling, baseball, hockey, and skating, antique cars, and was a member of the 50 Plus club. In addition to his wife Alice, Everett is survived by his sons Blaine (Sue) and Trevor (Monique), both of Saint John, daughter Krista Green (Jeffrey) of Saint John, and his grandchildren Scott, Melissa, Paige, Carter, Samuel, and Willem. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m., from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will take place in the Chance Harbour Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
