Emile Joseph Robichaud

It is with deep sadness that the family of Emile Joseph Robichaud, loving husband of Diane (Gallant) Robichaud, announces his passing after a lengthy but bravely fought 11 year battle with illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 27, 2018. Emile was born in Neguac, NB on July 15, 1946 to the late Antoine and Josephine Robichaud. In addition to his wife Diane, Emile is survived by his son Eric (Heidi), precious grandchild; Zachary Xavier, He was predeceased by his parents, as well as several brothers and sisters..

Emile was a welder by trade for over 28 years, working for Saint John Shipbuilding, Local 3.  Emile like to hunt, fish, watch nature and loved to laugh at the Wrestling on TV and say he didn't believe in it, (but we know he did !! Hahaha.)  He liked to go to Tim Horton's with his buddies in Grand Bay and sit around over a coffee and keep up on what was happening in the area. Over his time of sickness, he would love to get phone calls from Eliza Robichaud (Deceased), Ralph Hatto (Deceased), Gerry Leblanc, Donald Savoie and BJ (George Bourgoise) – they always seemed to bring a smile to his face and few chuckles, (whether they could see it on the other side of the phone line or not). He loved his family, brothers and sisters (alive and passed) …brothers; Roger (Antoinette), Domicien (Alice), Leo (Becky), Eustache and Ola, sisters; Delcia Joyce, Geraldine (Clarence) Henry, Lydia (Emile )Duguay, Bernadette Savoie (Bob Reid), Lauza Boisvert (Raymond Doiron) and Linda as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends..... and there were lots! And he cherished the time he got to spend with them. Taken far too soon, his family and friends will forever miss this man who meant so much.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Emile’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A private family service will be held at a later date.
