Elizabeth Joanne Guitard

The death of Elizabeth Joanne (BJ) Guitard, loving daughter of Edgar and Teri (DeWitt), occurred unexpectedly on August 3, 2018.  She was born on October 2, 1978 in Black’s Harbour.

She was part of the Wyndham Worldwide Canada team most recently as an Account Supervisor.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She enjoyed her yearly girl shopping trips. Drives in Chunky with her ‘rents.”  She was an upfront, honest and truthful kind of person people search for their whole lives for to find a friend.

Besides her parents she is survived by her brothers Joseph Guitard of Black’s Harbour, Christopher (Abcde) Prosser of Hartland, NB, her sisters Tanya Guitard (Wayne Bennett) of Edmonton, AB, Crystal Guitard of St Stephen, and Samantha Pangburn (Kevin) of Grand Falls, NB, her special niece Katelyn Lord, goddaughters Katherine Blanchard and Sophia Lord, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Eleanor and Eugene Guitard and Georgina and George Dewitt, her uncle David Guitard and her aunt Betty Whitter.

Visiting hours will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm.  Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
