Elizabeth Brittain Obituary

The death of Elizabeth Brittain, wife of the late Alison Brittain, occurred on October 5, 2018 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge.  She was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on March 6, 1944.

She had been employed with Orange Julius, Keddy’s Hotel, the Saint John Library and was the owner of J&B Variety. 

She is survived by her beloved friend Josie, her sons John of Saint John, Bradley (Athena) of Willow Grove, and Randy (Christine) of Saint John, her step-daughter Cindy Simmons (Cathy) of Saint John, her grandchildren Natasha Bradley Poe (Patrick), Amelia Loggie (Chris), Brandon Brittain (Fenerty), Kyle Brittain, Andrew Brittain, Jessica Brittain, and Bradley Herod, her great-grandchildren Andrew Bradley Poe and Anara Bradley Poe, and her niece Janice Waldschutz, and nephew Gary Urquhart.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Colleen and fur babies JB, Mitts and Babe.

Visiting will take place at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.  The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Erik Kraglund officiating.  Interment will take place at the Ocean View Memorial Gardens.  Remembrance made to the Alzheimer Society, the CARMA Cat Rescue Maritimes or the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated.
