Edward "Eddie" Hubert Friel

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Edward “Eddie” H. Friel which occurred at his residence on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Eddie spent his working career as a Fire Fighter in Ottawa, On. Following retirement, he moved to Saint John, NB and spent time working as a bartender at the Legion Branch #69. He lived life to the fullest and had an amazing sense of humour, was kind hearted and loved animals.

Eddie is survived by his sister, Linda of Vancouver. He is predeceased by his parents, Hubert and Jeanette, brother, Bruce and sister, Heather.

In keeping with Eddie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).
