It is with heavy hearts that the family of Edith Guimond, loving wife of the late Anthony Guimond, announces her passing that occurred on Saturday June 23, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November 24, 1924 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Vera (Crosby) Titus. Edith was employed with Sears as an assistant manager of catalogue sales until retirement. She loved the Lord and was very active in her church. Edith had many hobbies over the years which included knitting, gardening and tole painting. She enjoyed camping and the countless trips to PEI with her family. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Mary (Mark) Bartlett of Hampton; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Alvin Guimond, her grandson Ian Leach and her daughter Sandra Leach.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Funeral Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Gideons.
