Douglas George Martin

With heavy hearts, the family of Douglas Martin announces his passing, which occurred at home on January 1st, 2019. Douglas was born in Saint John on April 4, 1943; a son of the late Thomas and Virginia (Peterson) Martin. During his working years, Douglas was employed as a labourer. He is survived by his sisters Nancy and Bonnie Martin, special friends Lucia O’Toole and Paul Laird, as well as his many uptown friends. Along with his parents, Douglas was predeceased by his brothers Thomas and William, and a sister, Margaret Myers. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA would be appreciated.
