Donna Lorraine (Stevens) Craig

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Donna Lorraine (Stevens) Craig, loving wife of the late George Craig, announces her passing which occurred on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Millen and Margaret (Parks) Stevens.

Donna shared a passion for baking and spent many years working at various bakeries around the city including Vern’s Bakery, Eastern Bakeries and Save Easy. Her talent led to delicious character cakes, cookies and treats which were always enjoyed by all. Donna truly enjoyed baking for anyone at any time.

She also was a certified educator, teaching Kindergarten for many years. Donna was a natural pianist and enjoyed playing for many years. Above all, Donna lived her life as a very caring, loving and generous person. She was devoted to her family, friends and also lending a hand to those in need.

Donna is survived by her loving daughters; Debbie (Larry) Middleton and Chrissy (Robert) Duplessis, brother Martin (Janet) Stevens and sister Nancy Chiasson. She is also remembered by her cherished grandchildren; Jason, Stephen (Courtney), Stephanie, Mark (Charnele) and Katie (Trevor), great grandchildren; Marly, Levi, Harmony, Autumn and Hudson. Donna will be forever missed by her special nephew Artie Kincade who she adored like her own son.

In addition to her loving husband George and parents, Donna is predeceased by her infant son George McLellan, brother Millen Stevens and sister Betty Bridgeo.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  At Donna’s request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
