Donald Patrick Gormley

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Donald Patrick Gormley, husband of Gale (McKee) Gormley, announces his passing which occurred on December 3, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late William and Marie (Meunier) Gormley. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Leo, William and John Gormley; sisters Marguerite Titus and Avia Dugan; sister-in-law Edna Gormley.

Donald worked for the City of Saint John, as a Safety Officer for 33 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 2. Donald loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife Gale, he is survived by his daughters Pauline Gail Gormley (Hal) and Krystal Garland (Gene); cherished grandchildren Samantha, Tanner, Liam, Hayden and great grandsons  Easton and Carson; brother Kenneth; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Gormley and Mary Gormley; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Donald’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Remembrances in memory of Donald may be made to Hestia House, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements under the care of Fundy Funeral Home (646-2424).
