David Clarence Morgan

It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Clarence Morgan, age 39, announces that he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday March 18, 2019 at the Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton, NB due to complications of a Heart Attack.

He was the beloved son of David W. Morgan Sr. (Joanne) and Vera A. (Morgan) Wood (Larry Whitehouse) of Saint John, NB.

David is survived by his sweetheart Jillian Leonard, their unborn son and her daughter Evelyn of Lakeville, NB; his two loving children Dawson David Vail of Gibbons, AB and Samara A. Morgan of Victoria, BC; his sister Tammy Lynn Morgan-Dobson (Harold) of Saint  John, NB; his step-sister Jennifer L. Wood (Robert) of Saint John; his maternal grandmother Mary R.  Floyd of Sussex, NB; his niece, nephew, great niece and nephew; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be missed forever.

David is predeceased by his maternal grandfather G. Winsor Floyd; paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Morgan; aunt Ruth A. Floyd, uncle Winsor Warren Floyd and his stepfather Barry I. Wood.

David was currently employed with Maxsys Moncton, previously he worked for Canada Post Corp in Saint John and Victoria, BC for 10 years.

Today David lives on, as he gave both his kidneys and his liver to three people giving them a chance for a healthy happy life. It is the ultimate gift and a rare one. This was the first successful procedure performed in NB at the Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton, on March 18, 2019.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (506-646-2424) with visitation on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Memorial Service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment to take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or Crescent Valley Gospel Centre, 500 Somerset Street, Saint John, NB.
