Dianne, Debbie, and family: we were shocked to hear of Collins passing, and had no idea he was ill. We do not know what to say other than he was a funny, gregarious, intelligent spirit who never once failed to make us laugh on those occasions we encountered him. Since we are out of the country, we will be unable to pay our respects. Please know that our thoughts are with you. Our deepest condolences.

We were so sorry to hear about Colin. We got to know him in the early 90s in the happy days of Incredible Edibles. Over the years Colin has served us many a meal and told us many a tale. His distinctive laugh will always ring in our ears when we think of him. Our condolences to Diane and Debbie and to the other members of Colin's family whom we never got to know.

Rest peacefully my sweet, sweet friend...looking back on my 50+ years, it's without a doubt you were the very best friend I have ever had...we were so close those years I was in Saint John and our many weekend visits to my old stomping grounds in Halifax. You made those SJ years bearable! Now "this" is unbearable!! I cannot even imagine life without you "Niloc"...LOVE YOU so much!!!
Hugs to you Phyllis, Diane, Debbie and Donna!!!...the pain you must be enduring!!!

Colin was one of my two best friends in high school. After high school, I would see him twice a year when I came home from Ottawa. I am very, very sorry to hear of his passing. He was so full of energy, love, and happiness. He made me feel wonderful, just to spend time with him. Colin danced up a storm on the dance floor.

My deep condolences to his family, who he loved very much.

Gone way too soon. I have so many wonderful memories of conversation over dinner. We were always that table that lingered into late night and Colin would never show and sign of impatience, indeed that is usually when we had the best chats. Loved his intelligent and quick wit and opinions on any topic. We will all miss this handsome, charming, and dapper man.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Colin's passing. He had to have been one of the nicest people I had the chance to call a friend, having known Colin for over 30 years from the days of the former Turn of the Tide Restaurant at the Hilton Saint John and Alfalfas in Market Square; he was just a super friendly guy. He will be truly missed by all who knew him and my heart goes out to his family at this most difficult time.
