Clarence Joseph Henry

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Clarence Joseph Henry announces his unexpected passing on Thursday January 9, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Acadieville, NB on the 18th day of May 1934, he was the son of the late Alyre and Adelina (LeBlanc) Henry.

Clarence was a trucker for many years with CPR and then was employed as a bus driver for School District 8. He was a long-time member of the RCL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Geraldine (Robichaud) Henry; children Francis (Margaret) McLeod, Nancy (Paul) Robichaud and Cheryl McLeod; brothers Alyre and Rheal (Jeanie Petty); sisters Rose Henri and Diane Maltais; grandchildren Josee, Danielle, Melanie, Megan, Jeremy, Jessica and Marc; great grandchildren Noemi, Amilie and Felix.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Carl; granddaughter Melissa; brothers Aurele, Eloi, Placide and Ulysse; sister Cecile and brother-in-law Paul.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Assumption Church on Monday January 13, 2020 at 12 Noon. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the IWK.
