Christina Joan "Chrissy" Sears

After a life well lived, Christina “Chrissy” Joan Sears passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday October 21, 2019. Born May 12, of 1936, she was the daughter of the late Logan and Florence (Brown) Sears.  Chrissy worked for the Ministry of Education and Public Trustee’s Office in Ontario for many years, following her retirement and years of traveling, she returned to her native New Brunswick. She was a proud and determined lady who enjoyed the beauty of nature and the simple things in life; like watching a good game of tennis and feeding stray cats in her neighborhood. A talented cook, Chrissy made an outstanding blueberry cobbler. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend.  Chrissy is survived her loving son Mark Ougler and his wife Janine; precious grandchildren Stephen, Jason, Brett, Clayton, Shelley, Beth and Colleen; great-granddaughter Abbey; sister Marg Empey and brother Ted Sears (Nancy);  along with close nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Chrissy was predeceased by her daughter Lori (Ougler) Kemper and a sister Sheila Maguire.
