Cecil Ereaut

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Cecil Ereaut which occurred unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017.  Born 1948, in Burgeo, NL, he was the son of the late John C. and Gladys (Piercey) Ereaut.

Cecil worked as a cook for Atlantic Towing for over 40 years.  He was an avid antique collector and loved spending time at his cabin.

Cecil is survived by his brother George (Loureen) of Burgeo, NL; sisters Louise Swift of Charlottetown, PE, Rosie Coley (Gerald) of Burgeo, NL, Linda Critch of Winterton TB, NL; special friend Erna Martin of Saint John; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Besides his parents, Cecil was predeceased by his brother John and nephew Rod.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Cecil’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Cecil may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
