Carra L. Bent

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carra Lee Bent which occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 15th, 2016.  Born 1976, in Saint John, she was the foster daughter of Thelerise “Theresa” and Roger Bouchard.  Carra had a beautiful heart and was very hardworking and proud of her accomplishments.  She had a great love for animals, especially her cats.  She was strong willed and determined and she had a heart of gold.  Most of all, she was a loving and devoted mother to her children.

Carra is survived by her son Adam Bent of Saint John; daughter Shyann Bent of Saint John; sister Jody Bent of Saint John; nephews Nigel Bent and Kristopher Howell; as well as many friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Carra’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, November 19th at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Carra may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
