Carolyn Mott

With great sorrow the family of Carolyn Angela Mott announces her departure from this world, to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her passing occurred on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1943 in England, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Norah (Helley) Doucette and wife of the late David Mott. Carolyn was a quiet, kind and compassionate person devoted to her faith and enjoyed reading the bible and listening to Christian music, especially her favorite song Ave Maria. She worked for Sears as a secretary for many years. She adored all of her family and cherished every moment spent with them. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Luan Le for the wonderful care given to Carolyn over the last few years – she truly respected you and was grateful for all you did for her.

She is survived by her sons Kevin (Judy) Reick and David Reick; daughters Sigrid Norah Reick and Katie (Katey) Day; siblings Linda Saulnier, Patsy (Doug) Leblanc and Joey Shea; grandchildren Andrew Reick, Nicholas Neill and Jessie Reick; nieces and nephews April (Todd), Brent (Laura), Andrea (Gary) and Jason (Amanda); several cousins and great nieces and nephews and her feline companion Petra. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her nephew Dean and brother-in-law Aldoria.

As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in her memory may be made to the Joshua Group, Outflow Ministries or the Autism Society.
