Carl Walter Nilsson

The passing of Carl Walter Nilsson, loving husband of Shirley (Brannigan) Nilsson, occurred on September 17, 2019 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Carl and Pearl (Rowe) Nilsson.

Carl was a carpenter by trade.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Carl (Amanda) of Saint John, his daughter Theresa Hamm (Brian) of Ontario, his brothers; Bobby (Linda), Everett (Margot) and Gary (Janice); his sisters Colleen McKay-Mathews and Shirley Hachey; his six grandchildren John, Stephen, Jennifer, Douglas, Brian and Jacqueline and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation the family will receive relatives and friends at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. At Carl's request there will not be a funeral service. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
