Candace Michelle Morrison

With heavy hearts, the family of Candace Michelle Morrison announces her recent passing in Saint John. Born in 1961 in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Ann (Chavarie) Morrison and the late Charles Morrison.

Throughout her life, Candace enjoyed nature, gardening and traveling. She loved repurposing and refinishing antique furniture, and other creative projects. She dedicated her career and life to helping others.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Morrison of Toronto ON, six sisters, Marsha MacIsaac (Jack) of Nackawic, Janice Morrison of Miramichi, Ellen Bowes (Junior) of Miramichi, Marie Morrison of Miramichi, Natalie Morrison (Robert) of Amherst NS, and Anna Dean (Joey) of Miramichi, three brothers, Bernard (Tara) of Saint John, Brad, and Aaron (Vicky)  of Toronto. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Ron, Len, Tom and Andy Morrison.

Besides her family, she will be missed by her many friends from all walks of life around the World, from childhood through university (St. Thomas University and UNB) and time spent with them throughout her life. Special thanks to Bernadette Fernandes for her support and compassion through this difficult time.

As per Candace’s wishes, there will be no wake nor service. A private gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 4-5, 2017. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John, NB, whom you may contact to get in touch with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heifer International (www.heifer.org) under Candace’s name.
