Bryce H. Beyea

It is with great sadness that the family of Bryce H. Beyea announces his passing on Sept. 2, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Bryce was the son of Howard and Mary (Withers) Beyea, born Sept.6, 1938. Bryce embarked on his working career in 1956 at International Harvester and Cockshut Farm Equipment, but found his true niche when he started his own excavation company, Bryce H Beyea Ltd, which he operated until the age of 79. Bryce was a member of Carlton Union Lodge and Luxor Shriners Railway Unit. Bryce loved the outdoors, and enjoyed many years hunting, fishing, restoring farm tractors and even built his own Bricklin.  Survived by daughter Catherine Elizabeth and son Stuart Bryce, sister Carol Graves and her children Paul Graves and Debbie Settle. Predeceased by his wife Maureen Anne Ring, and later partner Marie Alchorn and her children Jenny Fullerton (Jim) & Sean Alchorn (Linda), as well as Kyle, Izzy and Sean Jr. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ashley Wood and Extra Mural for their exemplary care of our dad. Respecting Bryce's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family service will be held. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the MS Society of Canada, or the Shriners would be appreciated.
