Brenda Louise (Small) Grant

With heavy hearts, the family of Brenda Louise (Small) Grant announce her passing on May 1, 2018 at St, Joseph’s Hospital.  She was born on November 10, 1951 in Minto, NB to the late Earold and Pansy (Perrin) Small and was the loving wife to husband Donald “Ducky” Grant who passed away in January of 2017.

Brenda was first and foremost a caregiver.  She spent the early years of her children’s lives staying at home and raising them, before then going into the healthcare industry as a Home Support Worker.  She loved gardening and walking and in her later days she got involved in photography.  Family was very important to her and her grandson Micheal was the apple of her eye.  She will be sadly missed and always remembered.

She is survived by her son Jeffery (Teresa), daughters; Krystal (Kenny) and Erika (Nick), adored grandson Micheal Curran, brothers Dean and Ronald, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Doug Small. 

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Friday, May 4 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 3 p.m.  Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.  Memorial donations in Brenda’s memory made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
