Barbara "Lorraine" Gay

The death of Barbara “Lorraine” Gay occurred on March 19, 2019.  Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late George and Hazel Browne.  She was an RNA throughout her life.  She was very devout in her faith and was a member of St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, Quispamsis.  She was extremely independent and had a wicked sense of humour.  She cherished her family especially her son Barry. 

She is survived by her granddaughter Katrina who was like a daughter to her, her daughter-in- law Patsy Greenway, her grandchildren Madison and Payton, and her sister Dolores Hubley and her husband Donnie of Dartmouth, NS.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved son Barry Greenway, her brothers Frankie, Harry and Jackie and her dear cat Sadie.

Following cremation the funeral liturgy will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 11:00 am.  Interment will take place at the Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.  Remembrance made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
