Amanda Ann McCullough

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Amanda Ann McCullough on October 7, 2017 at her home.  Amanda was born in Saint John, NB on April 14, 1984 to Barry and Linda McCullough.

Amanda was a very fun loving person who made her presence known when she entered a room.  She was outgoing and boisterous and liked playing practical jokes, but she was a very respectful individual.  Always showing kindness to everyone she met.  She had a big smile and was very joyful and if anyone was in need, if she could, she would step in to help them.  She began her career as a Personal Support Worker because she enjoyed helping people so much.  She was very family oriented and was happiest when her family was around.  She showed nothing but love to them.  Her greatest joy in life though, was when she became a mother. She was so devoted to her children and would do anything for them.  She was taken much too soon, and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her will just miss this wonderful person with such a giving and gracious personality. 

In addition to her parents, Amanda is survived by her boyfriend Larry Peters, her 4 children; Ethan, Jonah, Xavier and Alexis, 2 brothers; Kristopher (Catherine) of Saint John, NB and Chance (Sam) of Tofino, BC , nieces Katelyn and Karrisa, nephew Luke and several aunts and uncles and cousins and many friends. 

She was predeceased by her Uncle Billy McCullough, Grandfather Alphonse Godin, Grandfather Orvil McCullough, Grandmother Doreen McCullough, Cousin Jonathan Ingersoll, Aunt Brenda Godin, Cousin Randa McCullough and Aunt Doreen McCullough. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-8pm.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 10am from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Donations made in Amanda’s name to the IWK Foundation or Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by her family.
