Tim Moore

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Earl Moore, which occurred suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 26th, 2022.  Born 1955, in Barrie, ON, he is the son of the late John and Reta (Shillington) Moore.  Tim worked as a Letter Carrier with Canada Post for 34 years before retiring in 2010.  He loved to fish, hunt and cook.  He enjoyed reading and was an avid Nascar and Blue Jays fan.  He adored his grandchildren and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tim is survived by his loving and devoted spouse Connie Brown of 20 years; brother Jack Moore (Sylvie) of Ontario; sisters Cheryl Steeves of Fort McMurray, AB; Charlane Blizzard (Mike) of Hampton, NB; step-sons Michael Saunders (Kim) of Saint John, Kenneth Saunders (Melissa) of Clarendon, NB; grandchildren Zachary, Olivia and Walker; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  A private graveside service will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.  Donations in memory of Tim may be made to the Hammond River Angling Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
