It is with deep sadness that the family of Philip Roger Gaynor wish to announce his passing on June 24, 2022 at Kennebec Manor, Saint John, NB.
A son of Robert Davis Gaynor and Hilda Louise Jane (Finley) Gaynor, Philip was born in St. Stephen, NB on June 22, 1934 and spent his early years in McAdam, NB. He worked as an electronics technician and electrician in various locations throughout Canada, the United States and Vietnam. He enjoyed researching the internet and loved to read and watch televised sports, but his favorite sport was fishing along New Brunswick’s beautiful Magaguadavic River.
Besides his parents, Philip was predeceased by his brothers Robert (Bobby), Ian and Stewart, and his sister, Doreen (Roy).
He is survived by his son Philip (Sue) of Arizona, daughter Dena (Randy Perry), also of Arizona, and daughter Kathryn (Michael) MacKenzie of Saint John, NB. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Alyssa, Alicia, Leah, David, Heather, Daniel, Daulton, Dalyss, Dezirae and Dustin, great-grandchildren; Jackson, Chloe, Levi, Kelsey, Zachary, Ryleigh, Lennox, Nixon, Paxton, Freyia, Gunnar and Kaycee as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John. At Philip’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Kennebec Manor Nursing Home for their care and attention during Philip's last days.
