Norma Mary Greenslade

It is with broken hearts that the family of Norma Mary (Jones) Greenslade, loving wife of the late F. Lee Greenslade, wish to announce her passing which occurred, with her daughter by her side, on October 16, 2023, at the Loch Lomond Villa.  Born in Saint John, NB, February 11, 1933, to the late Charles and Lena (Clements) Jones.

Norma had a passion for maintaining her home that she and Lee built 67 years ago.  Both the inside and the grounds were always immaculate.  She loved to sing and play country music on her guitar.  She was an animal lover and having several dogs and cats over the years.   

She is survived by her beloved daughter Brenda Greenslade, her sister-in-law Yvonne Jones, along with her nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family have been predeceased by her brothers; Roy, Cecil, Ronald, Raymond and Murray Jones, and her sisters; Doreen Jones, Marjorie Robichaud, Della Carson, and Lena Ewart.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506) 646-2424, with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4pm.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2:00pm from the Fundy Chapel, followed by interment the Midland Cemetery.  Remembrances made to the Saint John SPCA, the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
