It is with sadness the family of Ronald Moore announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 5, 2020. He was born in Garnett Settlement March 29th, 1939 to Henry and Dorothy (Garnett) Moore. Ron was a Long Shoreman, mechanic and a lumberjack. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed years of stock-car racing as a mechanic and driver and received his motorcycle license at the age of 62. A devoted husband, father, gramp, brother and friend who was always there to help when you needed a hand.
Ron is survived by his wife of 60 years Marilyn (Stanley) Moore of Saint John; David Moore (Jeanne) of Fredericton, Daniel Moore (Tina) and Victor Moore both of Saint John; brother Clifford Moore (Bertha) of Mispec; Brad, Natasha, Courtney, Sophia and Colby, eleven great-grandchildren and a special great-granddaughter on the way; nieces, nephews, friends and canine companion Holly. Along with his parents, Ron was predeceased by brothers David, Alphonse, Carl and Malcolm and sisters Jenny, Edna and Leone and nephew Wayne.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday November 9th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Public health guideline will be followed.
