William G. "Gerry" Amirault

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of William Gerald “Gerry” Amirault which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Born 1938, in Amirault’s Hill, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late John and Mae (Nickerson) Muise.

Gerry is survived by his wife, Joan Amirault, brothers and sisters; Edna LeBlanc, Jimmy Amirault, Barbara (Phil) Landry, Victor (Miriam) Muise, Janice LeBlanc, Paul (Kelly) Muise, Bernidine  and Leonard . 

He is also survived by his step daughters; Jean Ann (Raymond) (McHugh), Karen (Pat), Lorna, Janet (Aquilla) and daughter-in-law Noelle, step grandchildren; Lillian, Jennifer (Dan), Erin (David), Kristen (Matt), Jacqueline, Joseph and step great grandchildren; Lexie and Carson.

Also left to mourn are special cousin, James, cherished friend Danny Large and his pool shooting friends.

In addition to his parents, Gerry is predeceased by his step mother Christine Muise, sister Joise Leblanc, stepson Gerry McHugh and son-in-law Fred Drysdale.

Arrangements entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 12-2:30 with a funeral service to immediately follow.
