William Howard Kitchen

William “Bill” Howard Kitchen, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1931 in Newcastle, NB he was the son of the late Willard and Mayme (McLean) Kitchen. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother John Kitchen; sisters Pearl Penney and Lillian Steeves.

He is survived by his sons Keith Kitchen (Lois) of Pictou, NS, Gary Kitchen (Norma) and Ken Kitchen (Lisa) both of Saint John and Karl Kitchen of Vegreville, AB; daughters Kathy Thomas (Larry) of Saint John and Andrea Kitchen of Vegreville AB; brother Bervil Kitchen of Miramichi; sisters Kay Prosser of Coverdale and Carol Duncan of Ontario; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with William’s wishes there will be no visitations or funeral service. A private family interment will take place in Miramichi Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances in memory of William may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Fundy Funeral Home, 646-2424.
