Victoria Watson

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Victoria “Vickie” Elizabeth Watson, loving wife of Ronald Watson that occurred on Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1948 in Black’s Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Lillian (Bradford) Guitard. Vickie was employed many years as a Sales Merchandiser with Nestle, Gillette and Wrigley’s. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and going to her camp in Grand Lake. She also enjoyed running the roads with her long time best friend Gail. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Scott (Robin) of Hampton and Robin (Jayme Gray) of Saint John; daughter Rhonda Watson (Bill Saunders) of Oakville, ON; mother-in-law Elva Watson of Saint John; brother Norman (Edie) Guitard of Saint John; sister Susan (David) Dean also of Saint John; grandchildren Robert, Stephanie, Kayleigh, Kennedy, Kaiden, Harlow, Tori and Taylor; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Tuesday May 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate donations to the SJRH Palliative Care Unit or the charity of one’s choice.
