It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Thomas Wesley Wilson which occurred unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 30th, 2016. Born 1941, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Cyril and Thelma (Mott) Wilson. Tom worked as an Electrician at the Dry Dock for many years. He was former president and past member of the Renforth Boat Club, former president and past member of the Loyalist City Radio Club, and a member of both the Saint John Singles Club and Old Timers Amateur Radio Club. Tom enjoyed travelling, boating and camping. He was a Ham Radio Operator (VE1SI) for many years.
Tom is survived by his loving and devoted wife Deborah (Tyczkowski) (Dodd) of 9 years; son Tom Wilson of Saint John; daughter Tammy Wilcox (Terry) of Saint John; step-son Nathan Dodd of Saint John; step-daughter Julie Dodd of Saint John; sisters Carol Stokes (Malcolm) of Pictou, ON, Jean Drake (Terry) of Terrace, BC; sister-in-law Rose Wilson of Saint John; grandchildren Dylan (Chelsey), Jerad, Ashleigh, Brittany; step-granddaughter Emily; great-granddaughter Emma; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother John Wilson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, January 3rd, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, January 4th at 11 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Tom may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
