Theresa Alice Bowes

With heavy hearts, the family of Theresa Bowes announces her passing, which occurred on February 20th, 2018, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Theresa was born in Saint John on October 4, 1958; a daughter of the late Allen and Alice (Hogan) Bowes, and the loving partner of Steven Hayward. Theresa worked for Rocmaura, before her health forced her to retire. Along with her partner Steven, she is survived by her son Steven Bowes (Heather Flewwelling), daughter Michelle (Brad) Sweeney, grandson Theodore, sister Nancy Eatman,  brother Gerald Bowes, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her brothers; Donald Bowes, as well as James and William in infancy. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 26th at 10:00, from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
