Our hearts are saddened with the loss of Steve. As this time of reminiscence, I find myself thinking of all the road trips Steve, Ed and I would take for boxing. Steve had endless energy for our sport, a very committed and dedicated soul. We would drive hours upon hours talking boxing, how to make things better and what we needed to do to improve the sport for the boxers in our care. Steve wore his heart on is sleeve, a heart of gold for those that knew him! He was unwavering in his commitment. We not only have lost a coach and an official but also a true friend. Thank you Steve for being part of our lives.

To Eddie Cindy and family , we are sooo sorry for your loss ,I have you all in my prayers , be by your Mom's side as she will need you now more than ever , she will greatly miss him ..............But just remember , when you feel that shadow , that we all sometimes do , it will be your Dad right there beside you watching over you all !!!!! Please accept our condolences on the passing of Steve. He was a one of a kind, with a great heart for the young people in the Boxing world, just not the Saint Club or those from Boxing New Brunswick.

To Ed and the Blanchard Family., What a terrible surprise, to have learned this. I am very sadden, to hear of yours, and our loss. Steve was very committed to helping young people build good character, through the sport of boxing. His numerous years of volunteer work, will have a lasting, and positive influence on so many. I was lucky enough to travel with Steve on many boxing trips, his dedication to the sport, a especially the kids, was truely amazing. He will be terribly missed by the entire boxing community. My sincerest condolences to the Blanchard family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
