Shirley Virginia Dunn

It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Shirley Dunn who passed away at the St. John-St. Stephen Nursing Home on Friday August 21st, 2015. Born in Saint John January of 1937, she was the daughter of the late Oswald and Ora (Jenkins) Clayton. She is survived by her daughters Terry Crouse (Ray) and Lorraine Hilchie; sister Eva Hunter all of Saint John; grandchildren Timothy Crouse, Mindy Sterritt, Trish Kinney, Jeremy Dunn, Stephen Dunn, Justin Hilchie and Derek Hilchie; great-grandchildren Ty, Jack, Austin, Kyle, Brodie, Bentley, Aubrey and Isla; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband Manson Dunn; son Allen Dunn, sister Myrtle LeRoy and brother Leslie Clayton.

Arrangements are under the direction Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, (646-2424). A private graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to the Romero House Soup Kitchen or to the Saint John Animal Rescue League.
