Welcome to the memorial page for

Sharon Mary LeBlanc

December 11, 1948 ~ October 13, 2016 (age 67) 67 Years Old

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sharon Mary LeBlanc announce her passing, surrounded by her loving family, on October 13, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born in Saint John on December 11, 1948 to the late Jude and Gladys (Walton) LeBlanc.

Sharon was a very sweet and kind woman, well known by all those she worked with for her wit and dry sense of humor.  She was a customer service representative at Scotiabank until her retirement, at which point she let her interests just really take hold.  She was a member of the CWL at St. Peter’s Church for years, she was a regular at  BINGO games, and was always available, any day and any time, for any kind of card game going or to go bowling.  She was always happiest though, when she was surrounded by her family.  Sharon had a great love for her nieces and nephews, and it was fully reciprocated.  There wasn’t an occasion or moment of their growing up years that Sharon allowed herself to miss.  Even if it brought her to a campsite – something which she loathed – if it brought her time with her ‘kids’ then she was there.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her sisters; Cathy (Randy) Sharp and Denise (Allen) Cobbett, brother Gerard (Susan) LeBlanc, her six beloved nieces and nephews; Lené, Justin, Danielle, Melissa, Evan and Jessica, best friends Bob and Patsy Beck, as well as many cousins and friends.

Time may help to ease the bitter pain. But, dearest sister only few will know how much we will miss you and the loneliness of the years to come.  Sharon, we will try to be brave and remember all of the good times we were blessed to share with you.  Sharon, you fought a mighty battle and God, in His mercy, decided it was time to end your suffering.  You are now free from all your pain and at the roads end.  God willing Sharon, we too one day will all be together again.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private family graveside service will be held, but the family would like to invite friends to a time of fellowship and celebration at the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Center, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2pm.  Donation’s made in Sharon’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated by her family.  To sign the guestbook or to place an online condolence, please visit www.fundyfuneralhome.com
