Scott Paul Theriault

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Scott Paul Theriault on February 6, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  He was born on February 23, 1971 in Yarmouth, NS to Paul and Evelyn (Muise) Theriault and was the loving partner to Shelley Hughes.

Scott enjoyed working on his vehicles and attending his mechanic shows to see the classic cars.  Aside from his love of vehicles, he also had a love for his job as a leasing agent with Easy Home.  Scott was lovingly known as Scooter or Fluffy.  Scott will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his kindness, his genuine personality, and his desire to help anyone in any way possible.  He would be the first person to tease and irritate you to the point of a screaming match and then moments later be making you laugh and smile until your cheeks hurt.  When Scott went home at night, his pride and joy was his fur baby Alana, and the love of his life Shelley. 

Along with his partner Shelley, he is survived by his children Zachary and Chelsea, brother Jason and sister Rosealine, as well as niece Sara Theriault and several cousins.  He was predeceased by both maternal and paternal grandparents; Eleanor and Bradford Muise and Arthur and Roseline Theriault.  

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8pm.  A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2018 at 10am from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.   Donations in Scott’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family. Interment will be held in Meteghan, NS at a later date.
