Sandra Frances Vincent

It is with great sadness the family of Sandra Vincent announce her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 1, 2018. Born in St. Johns NL on July 15, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ellen (Furlong) Vincent. Sandra worked for the Canadian Government for the Unemployment Insurance office as a counsellor she retired in the 90’s. A dedicated volunteer, she enjoyed working with the Olympics, Skate to Care and many more. Sandra appreciated nature especially during her illness the deer who became a part of her mornings brought a smile to her face.  In her earlier days she enjoyed photography and skating. Those who knew and loved her will miss her forever. Sandra is survived by her spouse Robert Graham of Rothesay; God-Daughter Heidi White (Shauna Gallagher) of Saint John; sister Patricia Geide (late Walter) of Saint John; brother Edward “Bud” Vincent (Marilyn) of Harcourt, NL; step-children Michelle Valardo (Brian), Dana Graham and Dale Graham (Carrie) all of Saint John;  several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews and friends.

Along with her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her sisters Jean Byrne, Maureen Dalton and Caroline Furia; and step-daughter Deborah Allaby.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. By Sandra’s request there will be no visitation or service held in Saint John. A celebration of her life will be held in Newfoundland at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to the Diabetes Association, Mental Health or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
